How does the free trial work?
Your free trial will last 60 days. There's dummy data for you to play around with or you can upload your own data. We've designed the trial so that if you choose to subscribe to Utilmate, you haven't wasted any time and can start billing straight away. You'll have access to our Getting Started quick start video tutorials, which will teach you everything you need to know about using Utilmate. It covers off the basics such as setting up your company profile, adding price plans, importing your customers/sites and invoicing.
What features does the trial include?
The 60-day free trial includes all Utilmate features. When you're ready to activate your account, you'll have the option to select which plan you want to use.
Do I need a credit card to sign up?
Nope! You’ll only be asked for a credit or debit card if you choose to purchase a monthly subscription. You don’t need to enter any payment information to start your free 60-day trial.
What happens at the end of my trial?
At the end of your trial, we'll ask what you'd like to do next. You can choose a subscription to one of our plans and complete the subscription process. But if you decide to move on from Utilmate, we'll be sad to see you go. We'll delete the account and data you created during the trial. We don't sell your information. When you use Utilmate, you'll inevitably share some information with us and it is safe (we don’t sell it). Take a look at our transparent and easy to read Privacy Policy for more details.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept on-line payments through Visa, Mastercard and American Express. Utilmate uses a very safe and popular payment gateway called Stripe to manage subscriptions behind the scenes. If you don't have a credit card, please contact our sales team.
Can I upgrade or downgrade a subscription?
You can upgrade to a different plan at any time. Depending on the plan that you've subscribed to, there will be slightly different ways to downgrade or cancel an active subscription.
When am I billed for the subscription?
On the 1st of each month you will receive an invoice for the prior months' subscription fee and any SMS/printing usage fees. These will be automatically charged your debit or credit card on the 20th of each month.
When do we pay the set-up fee?
The set-up fee will be invoiced separately on the 1st of month following your subscription activation.
Why did you introduce new plans with different pricing?
We introduced a new plan structure in response to the market and customer needs. We had some companies approaching us to say that they really wanted to use Utilmate but in some cases they only required limited functionality until their business grew. In other cases, the commitment required the agreement of multiple decision makers, so the decision was being held up. Now companies like these can subscribe to Utilmate based on their requirements. This flexibility comes at a different price points.
Can I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel your subscription at any time, for any reason — no questions asked. Depending on your contract, there is a notice period.
