Welcome to 2019 and Utilmate's first release.

Invoice Preview

Impact: Medium

A new step has been added into the Instant Invoicing wizard to allow users to preview an invoice before it is printed. The invoice that is previewed will be exactly the same as the PDF that will be produced.

If the invoice that is previewed is not as expected, the user can cancel the wizard without the invoice being created.

If the invoice that is previewed is as expected, clicking on finish will produce the PDF and import the invoice into the customers AR.

Add Price Plan

Impact: Medium

The Pricing Maintenance screen now has an Add Price Plan button. The wizard will allow users (with the required administration rights) to add a new price plan.

This wizard currently allows electricity price plans only. More complex electricity price plans and price plans for water, gas and ISP are coming soon.

Activity Management

Impact: Medium

We have made a bunch of improvements around how you are able to view and manage your activities:

Filtering by department
Users can now filter the activities being shown to just those for a single department or themselves using the tick boxes shown.
Bulk re-assign and close
You can now multi-select activities and close or re-assign activities. Simply CTRL or SHIFT click the activities to be updated, click on “View/Edit” and update the status to close or assignee as shown.
“go to” customer hyperlink
You can now jump straight to a customer by clicking on the account number as shown.

The account numbers now have hyperlinks in the following places, allowing users to jump straight to the customer without having to navigate back to the search screen.

Hyperlinks on account numbers will be placed on all dashboard screens and reports in upcoming releases.

New Wizards

Impact: Medium

We have added the following new wizards:

From the concessions screen you can now add/ edit and delete concession card.
From the accounts screen you can now Consolidate and De-consolidate accounts.

Viewing

Impact: Low

Invoices can now be viewed directly from the AR transactions screen by clicking on the invoice number in column 5 (which is now hyperlinked).

Services Screens Refreshing

Impact: Low

Previously, when a user clicked between the site, account, meter, reads and usage tabs on the services screen, each click caused the screen to re-load/refresh.

This has been improved so a user can click between the tabs with a refresh occurring.

Quick search by Account Number

Impact: Low

By popular demand, you can now search for a customer number by pasting a customer number into the search.

New Maintenance Screens

Impact: Low

Calls and Activities
This maintenance screen is used to add and edit calls and activities available to users.
Public Holidays
This maintenance screen is used to add and edit public holidays. Utilmate will keep public holidays populated for each year but if specific Christmas (or other) brown out periods are required, this screen can be used.

Note: The maintenance menu option is only available to users in the “Administration” group. Please advise if you would like admin rights removed for any users.

Remove Adjustments

Impact: Low

The Charge and Adjustment Approval Dashboard screen now has a “Remove” button to allow adjustments not approved to be removed (deleted).

Reports

Impact: Low

All Reports have been improved so that:

Site Code and Site Name are separated into their own columns
All rows are returned rather than the 10, 20, 50, 100 options (this speeds them up considerably)
Column widths are defined to suit the data
Money and date columns are formatted so that they display correctly and also export to Excel without the “$” signs and time components
