Cashier Receipts

Impact: low

A number of our clients take cash or card payments over the counter.  To make this a little easier, an “Add Receipt” button has been added to the customer AR Trans screen.

Any receipt added will appear on the "Charge, receipt and adjustment approval' dashboard screen for approval before it impacts the customer balance.

We would recommend that cachier receipts are added throughout the day and reconciled against cash or card payments taken at the end of the day before receipts are approved.

Price maintenance

Impact: low

Based on user feedback, we have made some improvements to the pricing maintenance screen. 

1. The list of price plans is now shown in the left hand section of the screen.  This allows up to 20 price plans to be viewed at any one time.
2. Once a user clicks on a price plans, the various price plan components are shown.
3. Users can now set price plans to “approved” or “unapproved”.  Unapproved price plans appear in billing exceptions until they are approved.
4. A new “price change” button has been added.  This is not yet implemented (coming soon!) but will allow users to not only update the rates and also send price change notifications automatically.
5. The “Add price plan” wizard now supports adding gas and water price plans.
